Congratulations to the Peasants and Greens in Lithuania!
Congratulations to the LVŽS!
The European Unio's "right" to the free movement of labour has unpleasant costs - as we have pointed out. The depopulation of EU provinces such as Lithuania and Latvia is of the most serious. Apart from being a very serious strategic risk, such depopulation has human costs.
It is not just in countries like Britain - who receive the populations - but in the countries that are being bled dry of their people that the opposition is growing.
In Lithuania, LVŽS is a party which stands against this extraction of population and for a restoration of the country.
So it is that in the second round of elections in Lithuania on 23rd October , the Peasants and Greens Union, LVŽS or LPGU, strode to a surprise (well, surprise to the pro-EU types who do not understand people) victory. 54 seats of the 141 in the Seim have been won. Many analysts do not understand how or why real people want real change - and that is not just in Britain. LVŽS won one in four votes. Seats are by constiuency, as in UK, and also a proportional system.
When countries are robbed of their most valuable resource, their young people, families are split up, old people do not see their children for years, children are brought up by grand-parents because mummy and daddy are working as cheap servants in the homes of those AB classes who voted remain in the UK referendum. Whole counties are left with just old people and state administrators.
Is it any wonder there is a resistance?
Calgacus applauds Ramunas Karbauskais, leader, the LVŽS party and most of all the Lithuanian people who had the courage to do this thing.
We wish you all well.
